My name is Chris Swann and I am the chair of the English and Religion departments at Holy Innocents' Episcopal School in Atlanta, Georgia. My job is a teacher's dream--I teach three classes of seniors and get to work with my colleagues on the nuts-and-bolts of teaching in a classroom: curriculum choices and development, designing projects, discussing student and teacher evaluation, and interacting with young people as a positive role model. Plus, I get to spout off poetry at the drop of a hat.
